Champion Coach is a family-owned motorcoach company seeking an experienced Shop Foreman to lead our diesel maintenance team in Greenville, SC. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing daily shop operations, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of diesel technicians in all aspects of motorcoach and heavy vehicle repair/maintenance
- Oversee shop workflow, assign work orders, and ensure timely completion of repairs
- Perform hands-on diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, A/C systems, brakes, emissions, air systems, and other major vehicle components
- Maintain high standards for safety, facility cleanliness, and regulatory compliance (including DOT)
- Mentor technicians, provide training, and support technical development
- Manage parts inventory, tools, and shop resources efficiently
- Conduct quality inspections and troubleshoot complex issues
- Collaborate with management on scheduling, budgeting, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
- Technical school graduate or equivalent education, training, and experience
- Minimum 5+ years of medium/heavy truck or motorcoach diesel repair experience in a shop environment (leadership or foreman experience strongly preferred)
- ASE Certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of A/C systems, brake systems, emission systems, air systems, and diesel engine diagnostics/troubleshooting
- Experience with computerized diagnostics and major vehicle systems
- Previous fleet maintenance experience required
- Must have own tools
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) required
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and team-building skills
- Basic computer skills with ability to use diagnostic programs
- Must pass DOT pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check

Pay: $33.00 – $38.00 per hour
