Role Overview
We are looking for a Prototyper who can rapidly turn early-stage ideas into working demos.
This role is centered on Android-based devices, including smartphones and smart glasses, with cloud knowledge considered a strong plus.
You will focus on making ideas tangible—building prototypes that demonstrate feasibility, explore interactions, and validate concepts quickly.
Responsibilities
- Rapidly translate ideation-stage concepts into functional prototypes and demos
- Build experimental applications and features for Android-based devices, including smartphones and smart glasses
- Prototype interactions and system behaviors with strong consideration for UX and user context
- Collaborate with designers and engineers to evolve ideas through hands-on experimentation
- (Optional) Integrate basic cloud components to support data storage, synchronization, or simple backend logic
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Android-based devices and the Android platform
- Hands-on experience developing applications or system-level features on Android
- Ability to quickly prototype and iterate on ideas with minimal overhead
- Comfort working with incomplete requirements and ambiguous problem spaces
- Strong curiosity and willingness to experiment
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with cloud systems or backend architecture (e.g., APIs, data flow, basic deployment)
- Experience with smart glasses, wearables, or non-standard Android form factors
- Background or practical experience in HCI (Human-Computer Interaction) or UX
- Experience building PoCs, demos, or rapid prototypes for idea validation
