We are seeking a hands-on Sr. Tech Specialist to support R&D crash testing in a fast-paced lab environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical skills who enjoys working with tools, equipment maintenance, and test lab operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform crash testing using dynamic crash simulators
- Maintain and repair laboratory equipment and test devices
- Lead and support a team of technicians
- Prepare, document, and archive test results
- Improve lab equipment and testing processes
- Handle test sample preparation and disposal
- Support additional physical and mechanical testing as needed
- Maintain daily test schedules and priorities
Requirements
- Associate degree in Technology, Mechanical field, or Automotive-related field preferred
- 2-4 years of related hands-on experience
- Strong mechanical skills (tools, soldering, machining, welding)
- Microsoft Office and computer proficiency
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
