Position Overview
Serve as the technical interface between product development, the customer, and the production team for new programs, mass production programs, and service parts, ensuring the specifications and functionality defined for each product.
Responsibilities
- Generate RFQs (Request for Quotation) and ECNs (Engineering Change Notices) to initiate engineering changes, including updates to product structure, changes in manufacturing locations, supplier changes, and the creation of new part numbers in Teamcenter.
- Maintain and update the Bill of Materials (BOM) in Teamcenter and Excel, when applicable, for each product across all programs.
- Create and follow up on DRs (Design Requests) in Teamcenter for updating internal drawings and GD&T requirements for each product across all programs, whether due to engineering changes, part number updates, or new product development.
- Develop, execute, and track validation plans for new products or engineering changes across all programs.
- Ensure compliance with and updates to product specifications as reflected in drawings, Technical Data Sheets, and CAD models.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
Experience
- Experience in the automotive industry and in plastic injection processes
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position or more
- Advanced English
