We are currently looking for a Logistics Operator to support one of our clients in Basel. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day logistics operations of laboratory and office environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage warehouse operations, including ordering, requisition, and restocking of laboratory consumables and chemicals
- Maintain inventory levels and ensure accurate stock management
- Oversee logistics of pharmaceutical samples and technical materials, including inbound and outbound shipments in compliance with internal procedures
- Support implementation of warehouse systems and methodologies (e.g., 6S, Kanban)
- Coordinate closely with suppliers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials
- Provide administrative and operational support to logistics activities
- Assist with and manage logistics and warehousing-related projects
- Ensure smooth logistics support for daily laboratory and office operations
Your Profile
- Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics or warehouse operations
- Degree or apprenticeship in Logistics or a related field
- Strong planning and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Very good English (written and spoken)
- Basic German language skills (spoken)
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
