* *** Automotive Technician
** to join our team at
** BMW Markham
** and lead us to the road to success.
** As a Technician you will..
*** Performs repairs on vehicles as assigned.
* Performs vehicle inspections and assessments including diagnosis issues.
* Documents all work performed to Manufacturer standards and/or recommended on the repair order.
* Road tests vehicles as required.
* Ensures that customer cars are kept clean.
* Attends all training courses as requested by service management.
* Assists in training and supervising apprentice technicians.
** Skills and Qualifications
*** 310S Automotive service technician trade certification, meeting provincial requirements.
* Maintains all relevant Licences and Qualifications to perform duties.
* Thorough knowledge of mechanical repairs and procedures.
* Knowledge of Provincial Safety Standards concerning the performance and area of position responsibility.
* Valid Ontario Driver’s License and clean drivers abstract.
* Ability to drive manual transmission.
* Ability to work cohesively with employees and managers as part of a team.
* Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
* Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines.
* Detail oriented and excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.

Pay:
From $31.00-$43.00 flat rate hour, based on experience and qualifications.
