Role Description The Warranty Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Bakersfield, CA, responsible for managing all aspects of warranty claims and processes for Royal Coach Recreational Sales. This role includes reviewing and validating warranty coverage, preparing and submitting claims to manufacturers and warranty providers, and tracking claim status through to resolution. The Warranty Coordinator will work closely with service advisors, technicians, and parts personnel to gather required documentation, ensure accurate repair orders, and verify compliance with warranty guidelines. Daily tasks also include communicating with customers regarding warranty coverage, approvals, and denials in a clear and professional manner. The role involves maintaining organized records, monitoring claim performance, supporting quality assurance initiatives, and collaborating with management to improve warranty processes and overall customer experience.
Qualifications
- Strong focus on Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with the ability to build positive, long-term customer relationships.
- Effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication with customers, teammates, and warranty partners.
- Knowledge of Warranty processes and guidelines, including experience reviewing coverage, preparing claims, and working with manufacturers or third-party providers.
- Attention to Quality Assurance, with the ability to verify documentation, ensure accuracy of repair orders, and support process improvements.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple claims and deadlines in a fast-paced service environment.
- Comfort working with dealership management or service software and basic proficiency with office applications (email, spreadsheets, document management).
- Prior experience in an RV, automotive, or similar service department environment is preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or relevant certifications in automotive/RV service or administration are a plus.
