Responsibilities
1. Unit Testing
• Develop and execute unit test cases for individual BSW modules (e.g., ComStack, PduR, CanIf, Dcm, NvM, EcuM, Dem).
• Perform white-box testing using T32 debugger, VectorCAST, or Ceedling/Unity frameworks (depending on project setup).
• Create stub/mocks for dependent modules and ensure test cases achieve expected code coverage (MC/DC, statement, branch).
• Document unit test results and defects in compliance with ASPICE and ISO 26262 (if applicable) standards.
2. Integration Testing
• Perform integration testing between BSW modules and MCAL layer or RTE interface.
• Validate communication stack (CAN, CANFD, LIN) functionality using Vector DaVinci Configurator/Developer and CANoe restbus simulation.
• Execute test cases on target hardware (ECU) using T32 and monitor signal behavior and timing via CANoe Trace Window.
• Automate integration test sequences using Python scripts or CAPL automation.
• Verify AUTOSAR configuration consistency, ensuring interface compatibility across modules.
3. Qualification Testing (System-level Validation)
• Conduct qualification tests to validate full BSW stack integration on ECU against OEM/system requirements.
• Simulate diagnostic communication (UDS, ISO 14229), network management, and error handling scenarios.
• Analyze CAN/LIN/Ethernet traces to verify protocol compliance and system robustness.
• Generate test reports, traceability matrices, and ensure proper linkage between requirements, test cases, and results (Req → Test → Result).
4. Test Automation & Process
• Maintain and extend automated regression test frameworks for BSW qualification using CANoe/Python.
• Integrate automated tests into CI pipeline (Jenkins/GitLab CI).
• Support test environment setup including HIL/SIL configurations and debugging with T32.
• Participate in peer reviews for test design, test scripts, and verification reports.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical, Electronics, Computer, or Automotive Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in automotive embedded testing or ECU software verification.
• Hands-on experience with: + Vector CANoe/CANalyzer, DaVinci Developer/Configurator + T32 debugger and MCAL/BSW configuration + Python/CAPL scripting for automation
• Good understanding of AUTOSAR Classic Platform, including ComStack, Diagnostic, and Memory modules.
• Knowledge of UDS (ISO 14229), CAN (ISO 11898), and Diagnostics over CAN (ISO 15765).
• Experience with Unit test frameworks (VectorCAST, Ceedling/Unity, Tessy, etc.) and code coverage analysis tools.
• Familiarity with ASPICE test process (SYS.4, SWE.4, SWE.6) and traceability management tools (e.g., Polarion, Jira, DOORS)
