Job Summary

The Marketing Head will be responsible for leading the organization's overall marketing strategy and execution to strengthen brand positioning, drive customer engagement, and support business growth. The role requires developing and implementing integrated marketing initiatives, managing digital and offline campaigns, conducting market intelligence, and collaborating closely with sales and other cross-functional teams to achieve organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the annual marketing strategy, including budgeting, campaign planning, activity calendars, and industry trend analysis aligned with business and sales goals.
  • Lead the execution of integrated marketing campaigns across traditional, digital, public relations, events, and below-the-line (BTL) channels.
  • Build and strengthen the brand presence of MAW Earthmovers and JCB Nepal through effective branding and promotional initiatives.
  • Support the sales team in achieving market share and revenue targets by developing customer engagement programs, loyalty initiatives, and targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Identify new branding and promotional opportunities through partnerships, industry associations, exhibitions, and customer-focused events.
  • Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and business opportunities.
  • Develop sales enablement materials, including sales kits, product brochures, presentations, product USPs, pricing comparisons, and servicing comparisons.
  • Lead the company's digital marketing strategy across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and other relevant digital channels.
  • Monitor digital campaign performance, customer inquiries, engagement metrics, and competitor activities to continuously improve marketing effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with advertising agencies, media partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor and optimize the marketing budget to maximize return on investment (ROI).
  • Track and report marketing performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide strategic recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team while fostering collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in strategic marketing, preferably in the automobile, commercial vehicle, heavy equipment, construction equipment, or capital goods industry.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing strategic marketing plans and brand-building initiatives.

Required Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of strategic marketing, brand management, budgeting, and campaign planning.
  • Expertise in integrated marketing, including digital marketing, BTL activities, events, and public relations.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in market research and competitor analysis.
  • Ability to develop impactful sales enablement tools and marketing collateral.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing platforms, social media management, and marketing analytics.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, sales teams, agencies, and external partners.
  • Results-oriented with strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
