Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Spare Parts Executive based in Colombo, allowing some remote work flexibility. The Spare Parts Executive will be responsible for managing inventory, processing orders for automobile parts, coordinating with suppliers, and maintaining accurate stock records. The role also includes ensuring timely delivery of spare parts to customers, managing parts distribution to service centers, and supporting the overall operations of the spare parts division. Additionally, the role involves assisting with vendor negotiations and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of inventory management, stock control, and supply chain processes
- Experience in vendor coordination, order processing, and logistics
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Proficiency in using ERP systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office tools
- Attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving aptitude
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with customers and suppliers
- Previous experience in the automobile industry or related sectors is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related field is preferred
