A successful Service Technician delivers quality and productive workmanship on each and every repair/diagnostic performed.
Key Job
Responsibilities include:
Perform vehicle services as outlined in the repair order
Conduct vehicle inspections, document and notify service advisor of findings including labor and parts.
Accurately document all work performed.
Problem solve and provide alternative solutions to advisors and customers as needed.
Communicate with advisors and services managers in a professional manner on a daily basis.
Complete and stay current on all trainings set forth by manufacturer to improve product knowledge and customer service.
Follow all shop policy, procedure, safety and environmental rules.
Maintain cleanliness of vehicles and work area while performing service or repairs.
Required
Skills and Abilities:
Professional demeanor and work ethic including a demonstrated ability to take initiative.
Ability to drive manual transmission preferred
Valid driver’s license with a clean DMV record
Minimum of three years of automotive repair and diagnostics experience. (Franchise experience preferred.)Online training completed with ASE and/or franchise certifications preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Requires bending, reaching,Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
