Role Description
Our Client is a major, Industry Leading franchised new car dealership group. They seek a Financial Controller for a corporate head office role, located in Canberra. This is an exceptional opportunity for a dealership experienced Financial Controller to step into a corporate environment, enjoy a varied and interesting role with strong remuneration. This is a full-time on-site role. Responsibilities include preparing and analyzing financial statements, overseeing financial reporting processes, managing accounting operations, and providing data-driven insights to support informed business decisions. The role also involves monitoring budgets, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and assisting with strategic financial planning.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in creating Financial Statements and conducting Financial Reporting
- Strong understanding of Accounting principles and practices
- Demonstrated Analytical and Finance management skills
- Attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines and ensure compliance
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and financial decision-making capabilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certifications like CPA or CA are a plus
- Prior experience in the automotive industry is beneficial
