Dave White Chevrolet is Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan’s largest Chevrolet Dealership. Our Service Department is a busy, fast paced shop looking for an experienced Service Advisor.

SUMMARY:

A Service Advisor is the first point of contact in the service lane. They are responsible for greeting the customer, consulting on service needs, estimating costs, and selling service repairs. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service and communication skills. Additionally, they will have a strong understanding of automotive technology and the automotive industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer
  • Determine and recommend needed maintenance base on age, mileage and history of vehicle
  • Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
  • Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently
  • Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order
  • Explain all completed work and charges to customers
  • Maintaining positive customer relationships in order to ensure repeat business

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction
  • Past experience as a Service Advisor, Assistant Lane Manager or Service Consultant is preferred
  • A desire for a long-term career with a growing organization
  • Reynolds and Reynolds computer experience is a plus
