Role Responsibilities

  • As the Sales Operations Manager at ZEEKR Australia, you will serve as the core engine driving our business growth and operational excellence. Your primary mission is to build strong, collaborative relationships with our dealership partners, ensuring the flawless execution of ZEEKR’s unique brand experience and sales processes. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales operations strategies to exceed targets in areas such as customer deliveries, market share, customer satisfaction, and network profitability. A strategist, coach, and innovation driver, you will play a key role in accelerating ZEEKR’s expansion and brand-building efforts across Australia.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute state and national sales operations strategies to achieve or exceed targets in retail deliveries, market share, inventory turnover (with a focus on core components such as batteries), user satisfaction (NPS), and network health.
  • Establish and maintain strong, mutually beneficial relationships with ZEEKR’s Dealership Partner. Empower frontline teams through structured visits, joint business planning, data analysis, and performance reviews to enhance sales effectiveness and profitability.
  • Deliver high-accuracy retail and wholesale delivery forecasts at state and national levels. Conduct in-depth analysis of sales data, market trends, and user behavior to generate actionable insights that support strategic decision-making by leadership.
  • Lead the recruitment, training, coaching, and performance management of direct reports. Ensure the team deeply understands and upholds ZEEKR’s brand standards and service philosophy, fostering a high-performing, professional, and user-centric sales operations team.
  • Spearhead the rollout of key ZEEKR sales operations initiatives, including but not limited to:
  • Optimize the customer lead conversion journey from online to offline.
  • Refine and manage the end-to-end user experience, from test drives and ordering to delivery and after-sales care.
  • Drive the effective use of ZEEKR’s advanced digital sales platforms through training and support.
  • Design and deliver targeted training programs for network teams on product knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Act as a brand guardian by enforcing operational standards and customer service policies to ensure ZEEKR’s premium, innovative, and friendly brand image is consistently reflected across all user touchpoints (online and offline), enhancing brand reputation.
  • Collaborate closely with State Managers and business development teams to evaluate and optimize the existing sales network layout, identify new retail opportunities, and maximize ZEEKR’s market coverage and influence across Australia.

Qualifications & requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales operations, regional management, or a related role within the automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of the Australian automotive market and a keen interest in the electric vehicle industry.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a proven track record of building and leading high-performance teams.
  • Outstanding analytical skills and business acumen, with the ability to develop data-driven strategies that fuel business growth.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, capable of collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Results-oriented with strong project management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment, adaptable to change, and highly self-motivated.
