About the Role
The Sales Manager, Asia Pacific will be responsible for regional sales performance, market development, and key account management across multiple APAC countries. This role requires close collaboration with manufacturing, technical, supply chain teams, and the Global Segment Leader to successfully execute regional growth strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement APAC sales strategies for PVC compounds in alignment with global business plans
- Drive revenue growth through market penetration, new application development, and customer diversification
- Lead commercial activities including pricing strategy, contract negotiation, demand forecasting, and margin management
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with technical, production, and logistics teams to ensure customer satisfaction and reliable supply
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in a Sales Manager role, preferably within PVC, medical, or regulated markets in Vietnam and the APAC region
- Strong track record in sales and delivering customer‑focused solutions
Knowledge
- Solid expertise in sales project and business management
- Background in polymers, plastics, or chemicals is highly preferred
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all organizational levels
- Strong sales, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Proven leadership, time management, and problem‑solving abilities
Language
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
Travel
- Overseas business travel requirements
