About the Role:-
We are looking for a passionate and driven Group Design Leader (GDL) to join our Glass Systems team within Vehicle Engineering. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is eager to contribute to innovative vehicle design solutions.
The Glass Systems team is responsible for the development of all automotive glass components, including windscreen, rear screen, door glass, quarter glass, glass roofs, and associated rail systems. You will join a diverse and dynamic team of engineers with a broad mix of backgrounds, experience, and perspectives.
What You Will Do:-
As a Group Design Leader, you will:
- Lead the design and development of glass and rail systems across multiple vehicle projects
- Work in cross-functional teams from early concept phases through to production and beyond
- Take full ownership of product delivery, including function, performance, quality, timing, and cost
- Coordinate stakeholders, including internal teams and external suppliers
- Support product updates and modifications during running production
- Drive collaboration and ensure alignment across engineering disciplines

Bonus: Experience with PLM systems such as Teamcenter is an advantage.
