Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Rail Fleet Coordinator based in Mechanicsville, VA. The primary responsibilities include overseeing daily fleet operations, ensuring timely railcar movements, and handling operational challenges to optimize efficiency. The Rail Fleet Coordinator will also manage and monitor essential communications with clients and stakeholders, deliver outstanding customer service, and support overall operations management in alignment with business goals.
Qualifications
- Experience in Fleet Operations and Fleet Management
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
- Knowledge and ability in Operations Management
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Proficiency with logistics software or similar systems
- Ability to work collaboratively and resolve challenges effectively
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred
- Prior experience in rail or transportation logistics is a plus
