Plant Manager – Colorado
We're partnered with a leading developer in the renewable natural gas (RNG) space is seeking a Plant Manager for its dairy manure digester facility located outside of Denver, Colorado. This facility converts biogas into pipeline-quality RNG. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting strategic direction and managing day-to-day operations to ensure safety, environmental compliance, and plant profitability. This includes leadership of all plant operations functions and team development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in leading overall plant operations, setting goals, policies, and performance standards to align with strategic objectives.
- Manage and monitor plant budgets, capital projects, and financial performance.
- Oversee staff development, ensure compliance with OSHA and safety protocols, and maintain strong internal communication.
- Track operational performance through reporting, KPI analysis, and regulatory documentation.
- Contribute to new project development, including cost planning and operational input.
- Communicate regularly with senior leadership and stakeholders, representing the facility in meetings and audits.
- Support additional duties as needed by senior management.
Qualifications:
- Experience managing anaerobic digester facilities.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent industry experience may be considered.
- Experience leading teams of 8+ engineers and operators.
