PDI Vehicle Technician
Location:
Cheltenham
Salary: £31,000 – £34,000 basic, £37,000 OTE (Uncapped)
Hours:
Monday to Friday 45 hours, 1 in 3 Saturday mornings on rota
You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles using modern diagnostic equipment. A strong understanding of automotive systems and a commitment to delivering high‑quality work are essential.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Vehicle Technicians to perform service maintenance and repairs
- Conduct safety inspections, oil changes, lubrication work, basic maintenance, and minor repairs as directed
- Replenish consumables as requested by technicians or the Service Manager
- Operate all tools and equipment safely and in accordance with guidelines
- Attend training sessions and departmental meetings
- Thrive in a fast‑paced environment while upholding the high standards of a main dealership
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or higher
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a vehicle technician
- Competence using modern diagnostic equipment
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong team player with the ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing priorities
