Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Materials Manager to work in the Toledo, OH area.
Responsibilities
- Combine sales orders and inventory into production orders while ensuring physical and chemical properties are met; enter production orders into the MSC system.
- Respond to inquiries and status checks from the inside sales department, house accounts, or service centers/brokers.
- Make monthly steel purchases by deciding where, when, and how much to buy; monitor the status of inbound material.
- Manage inventory by resolving hold statuses and addressing aged and obsolete inventory, working with the secondary/scrap manager as needed.
- Communicate frequently with Sales, Purchasing, Scheduling, Quality, and Logistics departments to satisfy customer expectations.
Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the Steel Industry is required.
- Experience in sales and/or production is preferred.
- College degree or equivalent job experience required; a background in Supply Chain is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong math abilities.
- Tech-savvy with strong knowledge of the entire Microsoft suite.
- Attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
