ABOUT US:

ITW Car Care is a division of Illinois Tool Works (ITW), specializing in automotive aftermarket products. The division offers a diverse portfolio of brands such as Rain-X wiper blades, visibility enhancing products, and water repellent treatments, including our 2-in-1 Glass Cleaner. Black Magic to support all your wheel and tire needs including Tire Wet.

Position Overview

We are looking for an analytical, detail-oriented & passionate Marketing intern to join our team. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in core marketing functions including data analytics, business performance assessment, portfolio optimizations & campaign planning. This internship is ideal for someone who enjoys turning numbers into insights and using data to drive decision-making. You'll work on real projects that assess marketing performance, optimize portfolios, and help shape upcoming campaigns based on measurable results

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate brand performance using POS data, leveraging key learnings & assessments to drive actionable recommendations

Perform Competitive Analysis – Including Pricing, Features & Benefits

Review historical consumer research reports to provide key insights & trends recommendation to form basis of an innovation strategy

Assessment of digital & social footprint including competitive benchmarking to optimize brand & product strategy

Conduct competitive intelligence, analyze industry trends, and gather consumer insights to identify new product opportunities.

Qualifications

Other duties as assigned

Must be actively enrolled in a undergraduate program at an accredited university with Marketing, Business Analytics, or a related major, with an expected graduation date on/or before Spring 2027

Excellent Oral, Interpersonal, And Written Communication Skills

Ability to plan and coordinate projects as an individual contributor or as a member of a cross-functional team
