Responsibilities

About the Role

Drive resolution of existing manufacturing gaps and strengthen production stability by improving system, process, and operational effectiveness. Actively partner with NPI/NTI teams to identify and mitigate manufacturing ramp risks, with strong focus on Safety, Quality, and Process Control in alignment with Automotive IATF requirements, ensuring a robust and reliable transition to high-volume manufacturing (HVM).

1. Manufacturing HVM Enablement & Customer Readiness

  • Own and drive resolution of existing manufacturing gaps across operations, MES, DM/IDM systems to ensure stable and controlled production execution with minimal disruption
  • Act as the central integration and escalation lead across Production, Equipment Engineering, and IT/MES to enable structured problem resolution and sustained system robustness
  • Partner with NPI / NTI teams from early stage to:
  • Identify and mitigate manufacturing ramp risks
  • Ensure readiness aligned to Safety, Quality, and Process Control requirements
  • Drive compliance with Automotive IATF standards prior to HVM
  • Ensure controlled and risk-free transition to High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) by embedding robust process, system, and operational controls
  • Drive product and process knowledge capability across manufacturing teams to strengthen execution discipline and reduce ramp-related risks

2. Quality & Operational Excellence

  • Own and lead Quality and Operational Excellence across manufacturing, ensuring full compliance with IATF 16949 and customer requirements, and always maintaining audit-ready operations
  • Own and execute independent audit framework, ensuring:
  • Adherence to defined processes and standards
  • Timely and sustainable closure of identified gaps
  • Lead and own reduction of human-induced defects and excursions:
  • Establish structured improvement programs targeting operator-driven variability
  • Drive data-driven corrective and preventive actions
  • Own customer audit readiness and response, ensuring:
  • Strong demonstration of process control, discipline, and compliance
  • Continuous improvement aligned with customer expectations
  • Own and deploy Operational FMEA, ensuring:
  • Systematic identification and mitigation of operational risks
  • Full integration of FMEA outputs into production execution, controls, and MES workflows
  • Own ESD Compliance at production floor.

Essential Attributes

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of MES and manufacturing systems integration.
  • Strong focus on quality and continuous improvement.
  • Experience in Integration of manufacturing systems or production engineering.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s/master’s in engineering (Mechanical, Electronics, Manufacturing or related).

Desired Experience Level

5–10+ years’ experience in semiconductor/OSAT/electronics manufacturing.
