About the Position
Prestige Auto Wash & Quick Lube is seeking an experienced Lead Lube Technician to oversee the daily operations of our Quick Lube department. This is a leadership position for someone who is highly organized, mechanically knowledgeable, customer-focused, and capable of managing a fast-paced service environment.
The ideal candidate will lead by example, perform high-quality maintenance services, supervise technicians, manage inventory, coordinate scheduling, and ensure efficient day-to-day shop operations while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Primary ResponsibilitiesShop Operations
- Oversee the daily operations of the Quick Lube department
- Ensure vehicles are serviced efficiently, accurately, and safely
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
- Open and close the shop as scheduled
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures
- Maintain quality control and minimize service errors
Qualifications Required
- Minimum of 3 years of automotive maintenance experience
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic knowledge
- Experience performing oil changes and preventative maintenance
- Inventory management experience
- Employee scheduling experience
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred
- Experience with the ISI Point-of-Sale (POS) system
- Can speak English and Spanish
- Experience managing a Quick Lube or automotive service department
- Sales and customer service experience
