Job Description / Responsibility
Purpose of the Job
GSE (Ground Service Engineering) Operations Executive is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, availability, and safety of all ground support equipment (GSE) used in airline operations. The role supports daily flight operations by coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing equipment records, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to minimize operational disruptions.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the daily operation and availability of ground support equipment (GSE) for aircraft-handling activities.
- Monitor equipment utilization and ensure uninterrupted support for flight operations.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to maximize equipment reliability.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and arrange necessary repairs.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational and maintenance reports.
- Maintain accurate documentation for maintenance schedules, equipment utilization, and downtime analysis.
- Support operational planning during peak flight schedules.
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized maintenance services.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify safety hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Liaise with the maintenance team, airport authorities, vendors, and service providers regarding GSE-related operational issues.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Automobile, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering
- Skills Required: Production/ Operation Management, Technical Troubleshooting, Maintenance and Troubleshooting
Experience Requirements
- At most 2 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Airline
