Coalesce Management Consultancy has a consulting assignment available for a highly experienced Senior Automotive Corrosion Expert to support corrosion strategy, validation and customer-facing technical activities within a leading automotive OEM platform environment in Gothenburg.

We are looking for a senior corrosion expert who can act as a technical authority and OEM-facing specialist, ensuring corrosion standards, validation processes and performance meet industry expectations and support platform sales discussions.
Key Requirements
- 10+ years’ experience in automotive corrosion engineering
- Deep knowledge of corrosion mechanisms, prevention design and materials
- Strong experience with corrosion validation and testing methodologies
- Experience benchmarking against OEM standards and requirements
- Background within European / Western OEM environments preferred
- Experience acting as a technical authority or subject matter expert
- Comfortable working in customer-facing technical roles
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the organisation’s corrosion subject matter expert
- Review and benchmark corrosion standards, requirements and processes
- Validate corrosion performance and testing methodologies
- Define and guide corrosion prevention strategies across vehicle systems
- Act as the primary corrosion interface towards OEM customers
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and international stakeholders
- Recommend improvements to corrosion processes and engineering practices
