About the Role
We're looking for an exceptional Chief of Staff to work directly with the Founder across a portfolio of high-growth ventures spanning consumer brands, automotive services, food & retail, financial services, and technology-enabled businesses — with more being incubated.
This is not a traditional Chief of Staff or EA role. This is a builder's role. You'll be expected to design and deploy AI agents that run parts of the business, not just use AI tools to write documents faster. If you've only ever prompted ChatGPT for summaries, this isn't the right fit — if you've built agents that pull data, make decisions, and take action across systems, it is.
You'll operate as an extension of the Founder — turning ambiguous strategic problems into working systems, and driving execution across multiple businesses at once.
What Makes This Role Different
- You build AI agents, not just use AI tools. You'll design and ship agentic workflows — research agents, reporting agents, ops automation — that operate across every venture in the portfolio, not just support your own output.
- You work across sectors, not inside one. One week you're underwriting a bridge round for an auto-services business, the next you're building the market research agent for a new consumer brand launch. Range is the job.
- Ambition is the filter. We're not looking for someone who wants a stable senior role. We're looking for someone building toward running their own ventures or a Chairman's-Office-style career, who sees this as the fastest possible compression of that timeline.
Key Responsibilities
AI Agent & Systems Building
- Design, build, and deploy AI agents for research, reporting, financial modeling, and workflow automation across portfolio companies
- Build and maintain internal knowledge systems (data, contacts, market intelligence) that make every venture faster to run
- Evaluate and integrate new AI tools/frameworks as the space evolves
Strategic Planning
- Build business plans, go-to-market strategies, and expansion roadmaps for new and existing ventures
- Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and opportunity evaluation
- Prepare investment memos, strategy papers, and board-level materials
Founder's Office
- Prioritize strategic initiatives and track milestones across all ventures
- Coordinate cross-functional and cross-venture projects
- Prepare decision notes ahead of key meetings; drive accountability
Financial & Strategic Planning
- Support forecasting, unit economics, pricing, scenario planning, and fundraising prep
- Strong business finance fluency required; formal accounting background not required
Venture Incubation
- Work directly with the Founder to validate, launch, and scale new businesses from zero
Project Management
- Drive execution discipline across multiple simultaneous initiatives; escalate bottlenecks before they become blockers
Who We're Looking For
You want to build things, not maintain them. You're comfortable being handed a vague, high-stakes problem and figuring out the system to solve it — including building the AI tooling to do it faster than a traditional team could. You move between strategy, finance, technical build, and execution in the same day without losing quality in any of them. And you're doing this role because it accelerates something bigger you're building toward, not because it's a good landing spot.

Experience
- 3–7 years of relevant experience
- Direct experience working with founders, CXOs, or leadership teams strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to build with AI tools beyond prompting — agent frameworks, automation platforms (n8n, Zapier, or equivalent), API integrations, or applied technical projects
- MBA, CA, CFA, Engineering, Economics, or equivalent analytical background welcome — the AI-building capability matters more than the credential
Skills Required
Business Strategy: strategic thinking, business model development, market analysis, structured problem-solving
Finance: financial modeling, forecasting, unit economics, advanced Excel
AI & Building: hands-on agent-building experience (not just tool usage), workflow automation, comfort with APIs and no-code/low-code platforms, fast tool evaluation and adoption
Communication: exceptional written and verbal communication; ability to translate complex analysis into a one-page decision
