Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across vehicle systems.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, powertrains, electrical systems, and other vehicle components with precision and efficiency.
- Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot complex electrical and electronic problems.
- Repair or replace engine components, including diesel engines and standard passenger car engines, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques safely to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Perform wheel alignments, ADAS calibrations, and vehicle system inspections to ensure safety and optimal operation.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete inspection reports, and communicate findings clearly to customers or team members.
Qualifications
- Proven dealership or automotive repair experience with a strong mechanical background.
- Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Experience repairing diesel engines and working on automotive engine systems is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics tools and techniques for troubleshooting complex vehicle issues.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance machinery.
- Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely throughout the workday.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on delivering quality workmanship and clear communication.
