Pay: CA$38.00-CA$50.00 per hour

We specialize in providing high-quality service and parts, and we are looking for a skilled technician to join our veteran team at our Blackfoot Trail location. We specialize in Heating and cooling systems.
The Role
We are seeking a Red Seal Licensed Automotive Service Technician with specific expertise in Automotive, Hi-Way Tractor, and Motorhome Air Conditioning systems. You will be responsible for high-level diagnostics and repairs in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electronic failures.
Utilize diagnostic tools, visual inspections, and test drives to identify issues.
Interpret operator input to streamline the repair process.
Maintain a high standard of workmanship on a variety of heavy-duty and light duty/passenger vehicles.
Communidate with the Advisors to better streamline the process.
Diagnose and repair automotive cooling systems, focusing on first-time fixes to minimize customer return visits.
Thoroughly flush contaminated heat exchangers, including radiators and heater cores, to restore optimal thermal efficiency and maintain stable operating temperatures.
Service both R-134a and R-1234yf A/C systems, optimizing ventilation temperatures and reducing the frequency of return visits.
Fabricate and weld necessary brackets and lines on-site to circumvent parts delays and reduce service downtime.
Conduct comprehensive pressure and leak tests utilizing UV dye to expedite fault identification and ensure quicker vehicle release.
Execute thorough diagnostics on automotive cooling systems, guaranteeing rapid and effective repairs that enhance vehicle performance and maximize customer satisfaction.
Help other techs around the shop.
Requirements
Certification: Valid Red Seal Mechanic’s License.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience, specifically in Heating and Cooling systems.
Licensing: Valid Driver’s License.
Tools: Must provide your own set of professional tools.
