Daily Responsibilities
Efficiently perform repairs and maintenance outlined in repair orders, ensuring alignment with dealership standards.
Conduct test drives and utilize diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment to assess vehicle components and systems.
Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including the engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, and more.
Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed of any additional service needs, providing accurate time estimates for further repairs.
Complete warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
Prior experience in an automotive dealership setting.
ASE certifications specializing in Toyota vehicles.
Strong knowledge of service drive operations.
Relevant Experience Requirements Vary By Position.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Steady hand with excellent hand-eye coordination.
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting abilities.
Outstanding customer service skills.
Basic proficiency in computer applications.
