Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Automotive Sales Consultant with a passion for customer service. The successful candidate will assist customers with vehicle selection and present new and pre-owned vehicles, highlighting features, options, and financing choices to facilitate sales. This role requires strong communication skills, a professional appearance, and the ability to build lasting relationships to encourage repeat business.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with vehicle selection and promote model options, accessories, and financing options in accordance with dealership policies
- Conduct vehicle test drives while ensuring adherence to all traffic laws
- Provide clear explanations of vehicle features, warranty, and servicing requirements during delivery
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales documentation
- Negotiate sales ethically and professionally to close deals
- Stay informed about current vehicle inventory, accessories, promotions, and financing options
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and educational classes as required
Work Environment

- Valid and unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Previous sales experience is a plus, but not mandatory
- Professional, reliable, and dependable work ethic
- Ability to work independently and meet sales goals

- Basic computer and internet navigation skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions
