A leading player in the transport, logistics and supply chain sector is seeking an experienced and results-driven Area Sales Executive to join its growing team. This role is ideal for a sales professional with a proven track record in business development and corporate sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities.
  • Schedule and conduct client meetings and presentations.
  • Generate leads through proactive prospecting and cold calling.
  • Build, develop and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets.
  • Promote a comprehensive range of logistics, freight and supply chain solutions.
  • Analyse customer requirements and provide tailored solutions.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotations and service agreements.
  • Maintain accurate CRM and sales activity records.
  • Negotiate and close deals with decision-makers and senior management.

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12).
  • Relevant tertiary qualification advantageous.
  • Minimum 3 years' successful corporate sales experience.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Experience within the logistics, freight, courier, warehousing or supply chain industry is highly advantageous.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
  • Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
