A leading player in the transport, logistics and supply chain sector is seeking an experienced and results-driven Area Sales Executive to join its growing team. This role is ideal for a sales professional with a proven track record in business development and corporate sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business opportunities.
- Schedule and conduct client meetings and presentations.
- Generate leads through proactive prospecting and cold calling.
- Build, develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets.
- Promote a comprehensive range of logistics, freight and supply chain solutions.
- Analyse customer requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations and service agreements.
- Maintain accurate CRM and sales activity records.
- Negotiate and close deals with decision-makers and senior management.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12).
- Relevant tertiary qualification advantageous.
- Minimum 3 years' successful corporate sales experience.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Experience within the logistics, freight, courier, warehousing or supply chain industry is highly advantageous.
- Strong presentation, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
- Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
