GKN Automotive Hungary:
It is a truly exciting time to join us here at GKN Automotive in Hungary. We built a brand new manufacturing facility on the outskirts of Miskolc in 2023, which includes assembly and office accommodation. Our Miskolc facility is a key regional facility for the driveline technologies that GKN Automotive supply to our global customer base. We employ hundreds of colleagues from the local community and will continue to develop the site over time.

What will you be doing in this role?:
- Set clear goals and priorities to team; monitor team performance.
- Coach and develop team skills; hold regular reviews to achive yearly PDP targets.
- Lead internal audits and close actions on time in the area
- Drive KPI improvement through structured action plans.
- Communicate progress and issues and escalate to management clearly.
- Executing process improvements
- Implementing new process standards
- Daily troubleshooting of operative technical issues
- Coordinating subcontractors and suppliers for projects, acting as the primary point of contact.
- Supporting quality issues from process side
- Training/supporting local operators/shopfloor leadership for assembly processes
Requirements:
- Master/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Confident English knowledge verbal and written
- Min 3 years of experience in production environment preferably in automotive
- Proactive and result-driven mindset
- Engineering technology competence
- Strong communication skills
- Team player
- Independent management of assigned projects
- Preferably experience in leading smaller engineering team
