About the Role
Volvo Malaysia is seeking motivated students from Automotive, Engineering, or related fields to join our Workshop team. This internship offers hands-on experience in supporting daily workshop operations, assisting in vehicle inspection and maintenance, and learning technical processes within a multinational automotive company. Interns will gain practical exposure to heavy vehicle servicing, safety procedures, and the use of diagnostic tools while working alongside experienced technicians.
Key Responsibilities
• Willingness to learn and work in a hands-on workshop environment
• Assist in daily workshop operations and ensure smooth workflow
• Prepare and send invoices to customers and track delivery or acknowledgment.
• Maintain 5S compliance for document storage (physical & digital).
• Assist in planning and coordinating CSR-related activities and ISO documentation or booking arrangements.
• Assist the team with any ad-hoc tasks when required.
Requirements
• Candidate must possess or currently be pursuing a certificate in SKM / TVET in Engineering or related field
• Basic knowledge of the automotive industry is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of truck mechanical systems and components is an added advantage
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proactive, adaptable, and willing to learn.
