Job Summary:
The Workshop In-Charge is responsible for overseeing daily workshop operations, ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining quality standards, and managing technicians to deliver timely and high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage day-to-day workshop operations
- Allocate jobs to technicians and monitor progress
- Ensure timely completion of repair and maintenance work
- Maintain quality standards and ensure customer satisfaction
- Diagnose technical issues and provide solutions when required
- Monitor inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts
- Coordinate with procurement for spare parts availability
- Ensure proper documentation of job cards and service records
- Implement safety standards and maintain a clean work environment
- Train and guide workshop staff for skill improvement
Requirements:
- Diploma/Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering or related field
- 2-3 years of experience in workshop supervision or similar role
- Strong technical knowledge of vehicles/machinery
- Leadership and team management skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Good communication and organizational skills
