Position Overview
We are seeking to hire Workshop Engineers (Mechanical) to join our maintenance team specialized in large bus maintenance.
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Cairo.
Role Description
The Workshop Engineer will be responsible for overseeing daily workshop operations related to the maintenance and repair of large buses and heavy vehicles. Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising daily maintenance and repair activities
- Diagnosing technical issues and conducting regular inspections
- Implementing effective repair solutions
- Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
- Managing workshop workflow to ensure operational efficiency
- Providing technical guidance and support to workshop staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 1 to 5 years of experience in maintenance of heavy vehicles or large buses
- Strong technical knowledge in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a workshop environment
- Previous experience in public transportation or bus companies is a plus
- Preference for candidates residing in Cairo, Alexandria, or Hurghada
Job Requirements
- Hands-on experience in maintenance of large buses
- Experience with the following brands is preferred:
- MAN
- Volvo
- MCV
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Team-oriented mindset and commitment to safety and quality standards
