Workshop Engineer (Mechanical/Vehicle Technician) – Howden, East Yorkshire
Salary: GBP 37,150 – 40,000 + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + 6% Employer Pension + 4% Employee Pension + Life Assurance + Uniform + Parking + Specialist Tooling + Training + Career Progression + Canteen
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 6:00–14:30 and 16:00–22:00 (weekly rotation)
Employer:
An international manufacturer of forklift trucks. This role offers full training.
The role will be suitable for engineers from any kind of plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment. Automotive technicians/motor trade applicants will also be suitable as full training on the fleet will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Carry out service and repair work on workshop and service basis on a range of used forklift trucks.
- Order parts as needed and communicate progress to the Workshop Manager.
- Work as part of a highly skilled team in a reputable business. The role is mechanical and electrical service and repair.
- Based at a client site in Howden.
Requirements / Experience
- Experience of working on vehicles, HGVs, forklifts, cars, plant machinery etc.
- Ideally hold a level 3 or equivalent
- IT literate
