Our Aftersales team is seeking a Workshop Controller to join our team in Kowloon Bay Toyota. In this position you will collaborate with a dynamic, diverse team to deliver exceptional service and repairs, bringing your expertise and passion for quality to drive your career forward.

What You’ll Do

  • Ensure the smooth and efficient running of the mechanical workshop in order to meet the promised completion time.
  • Receive order from TSA/Reception, record, plan, organize and delegate work to different teams based on the standards set forth by the company.
  • Monitor and control work process in accordance with the work schedule assigned.
  • Ensure the workshop is running in full capacity so that no overloading or under loading will be existed.
  • Handle Daily administration work
  • Liaise and co-ordinate with staff of various sections within Service and Parts Divisions for provision of high standard of repair and maintenance services to customers.
  • Train, develop, direct and motivate subordinates to provide quality mechanical services to customers.
  • Review regularly the performance of subordinate against work standards and objectives set forth by the company.
  • Ensure that all left over vehicles will be handed over to next shift properly.
  • Notify TSA/Reception for CMR or any hindrances of the vehicle maintenance progress.
  • Liaise and co-ordinate with vendors/suppliers for sourcing and supply of tools and paint materials.
  • Ensure that all safety measures are provided to staff in compliance with the safety rules and regulations.
  • Any other duties as instructed and/or required by direct supervisor.

About You

  • To be successful in this role, you will be:
  • F.5 standard
  • Good knowledge of motor vehicle is preferred.
  • 6 years’ working experience in motor trade of which at least 2 years at supervisory level.
  • Good communication and co-ordination skills.
