Join our team at Northeast Auto Group as a Warehouse Administrator, where you'll play a key role in supporting our Procurement team and warehouse operations. In this role, you'll help ensure inventory, purchasing, and administrative processes are managed efficiently and accurately to keep our business running smoothly.
About The Role
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, this position plays a key role in maintaining the accuracy, flow and visibility of stock across the group. Core responsibilities include processing purchase orders, quotations and sales orders, maintaining stock records, and providing timely internal customer service.
In addition, day‑to‑day administration, this role will actively support initiatives that improve efficiency, reduce waste, and strengthen cost‑effective procurement and warehouse practices. The successful candidate will also assist with general warehouse operations as needed, including stock movement, container unloads and forklift operation.

- Experience in warehousing, logistics or procurement (advantageous)
- Current forklift license, or willingness to obtain

- An interest in contributing to process improvement and cost‑saving initiatives
What You’ll Do
- Assist the Procurement Manager in implementing procurement strategies, that balance local and global procurement, to optimize cost, quality and supply chain resilience.
- Support the negotiation and administration of contracts, supplier agreements, and purchase orders.
- Conduct supplier research and analysis to identify opportunities for improved pricing, service, and quality.
- Assist in preparing tenders, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Monitor supplier performance and escalate issues or risks where required.
- Provide regular procurement data and reporting to support decision-making.
- Support the consolidation of purchasing requirements to leverage group buying power.
- Ensure compliance with company and procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory obligations.
- Contribute to the automation and streamlining of procurement processes.
- Liaise with stakeholders to understand procurement requirements and align activities to business needs.
- Provide support to team members and contribute to broader team objectives as required, demonstrating flexibility and a collaborative approach to achieving shared goals.
What You’ll Bring
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a procurement, purchasing, or contract administration role. Automotive and/or Construction industry an advantage, but not essential.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract administration.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Sound commercial awareness and problem-solving ability.
- Proficiency in procurement systems and reporting
- Good understanding of Work Health and Safety obligations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Current driver’s licence.
