Job Summary
Seeking a Vehicle Systems Engineer to support the launch of a new Electric Power Take-Off (ePTO) product for industrial work trucks. The ideal candidate will have experience with complex systems, controller configuration, system troubleshooting, and customer-facing technical support.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and program vehicle controllers for ePTO systems
- Understand system dynamics and interactions between mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components
- Support integration with customer vehicles and application requirements
- Troubleshoot system-level issues and provide technical support during installations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple Parker facilities
- Support customers remotely during setup and installation processes
- Participate in product development and system validation activities
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required
- Experience with complex systems engineering or controls engineering
- Knowledge of vehicle controllers, CANBUS, and hydraulics preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Mechanically inclined with hands-on system understanding
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with customer interaction, account support, or field support is a plus
- Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering and operations teams
