Truck/Trailer Mechanic
We are seeking an experienced A/B-Level Diesel Mechanic to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician to grow and excel. Our shop is a full-service repair facility servicing tractors, trailers, and some off-highway equipment.

If you have a “can-do” attitude, we will invest the time to train & certify you in any area you show interest. Cummins, Allisson, Autocar, Landoll, Deloupe, PSI, & Electric Power Units.
Responsibilities:
- Bring your own tools
- Diagnostic/troubleshooting electrical systems, brake systems, motors, transmissions and hydraulic systems ( jobs will be based on your skill level)
- Diagnose with scanners and diagnostic programs (based on your skill level)
- Light/Medium/Heavy duty repair
- Maintain accurate and current daily work records
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Road service if you’re interested is available
- Fabrication
- Trailer maintenance & repairs
- Maintain a clean work area and shop
Qualifications:
- 5 years of Diesel Truck repair experience a must, 10 years preferred
- Trouble-shooting and diagnostic experience(a plus)
- Must be punctual, personal and pay attention to details
- Must have your own tools
- Knowledge of truck chassis, engine electrical systems, and electronic controls.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems on heavy-duty vehicles.
- Ability to work independently
- Valid NJ drivers license
- CDL a plus but not required
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour
