Test & Verification Engineer – SWIM Resolution Engineer

About The Role
We are looking for an experienced SWIM Resolution Engineer with a strong passion for automotive development and testing. You will work in a key role within software verification, collaborating closely with a team in China, and contributing to resolving technical issues in complex vehicle programs.
The role requires a structured and analytical mindset – you will identify, analyze, and resolve issues with high precision, ensuring that solutions are sustainable in the long term.
Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze technical issues and their root causes in vehicle programs during testing
- Implement sustainable solutions and actively prevent recurring issues
- Evaluate, select, and verify solutions in close collaboration with product, operations, and engineering teams
- Contribute to the implementation of agreed verification plans and test cases
- Report test progress to the test leader and project team, and identify and escalate verification risks
- Work closely with the EE Center team in China
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and participate in initiatives to increase efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar
- Minimum 4 years of experience in embedded systems development within the automotive industry
- Experience in testing and verification of automotive systems
- Proficiency with Vector tools such as CANoe or CANalyzer
- Strong analytical skills and experience in test analysis
- Cultural understanding of China–Europe collaboration
- Valid Swedish driver’s license
- Required: Fluent Mandarin (spoken and written) and strong English skills (spoken and written)
Personal Attributes
- Genuine interest in cars and experience with vehicle testing
- Strong communication skills
- High collaboration ability and comfortable working in international teams
