Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Technicians/Mechanics role based in Ikorodu. The technician will perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on Iveco and MAN TGA vehicles and related equipment used for cargo movement. Daily responsibilities include identifying mechanical issues, conducting scheduled servicing, replacing faulty parts, and ensuring all work meets safety and compliance standards. The role also involves documenting maintenance activities, reporting potential issues before they become critical, and collaborating with operations teams to minimize equipment downtime. The technician will help maintain a clean, organized workshop and follow all company health, safety, and environmental procedures.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and general Maintenance for vehicles and related cargo-handling equipment.
- Experience with Preventive Maintenance, including scheduled inspections and servicing to reduce breakdowns.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting and Maintenance & Repair to diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
- Relevant technical or vocational training in automotive, diesel, or mechanical engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, service bulletins, and basic diagnostic reports.
- Commitment to safety, attention to detail, and adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
- Prior experience in fleet, logistics, or transport maintenance in Nigeria is an advantage.
