Hiring: Master Technical Trainer (KSA)

Saudi Arabia | Alkhobar

We’re looking for a Master Technical Trainer to deliver and lead technical training across automotive, EV, bus & coach, and heavy vehicle operations.

Role:

1. Development Plans

  • Create and implement comprehensive development plans based on KSA business needs across Car Care Services, Asian Motors, and PTC.
  • Align training pathways to IMI, IRTEC, OEM Brand requirements, and evolving mobility trends (EV, Hybrid, LEV).
  • Continuously update plans to reflect new technologies, EV systems, bus/coach training requirements, and IRTEC compliance.

2. Delivering Training Sessions

  • Deliver engaging, updated, and effective technical and non‑technical training for:
  • Car Care technicians, tyre specialists, service advisors, team leaders (IMI & Tyre Pathways)
  • Asian Motors sales & aftersales technical teams (IMI & OEM Pathways)
  • PTC inspectors, QA staff, supervisors, and technicians (IRTEC pathways)
  • Conduct practical assessments, workshops, and technical demonstrations aligned with OEM/IMI/IRTEC standards.

3. Develop and Update Training Materials

  • Develop curriculum for OEM, EV, Hybrid, NEV, Bus & Coach, Heavy Vehicle, ADAS, and tyre‑plus service programs.
  • Finalize IRTEC‑aligned assessment documentation and support centre approval requirements.
  • Build and manage content for LMS and digital training systems.

4. Events & Talent Development

  • Participate in technical events, recruitment drives, apprenticeships, and brand skills contests.
  • Support PTC competency development program and IRTEC submission preparations.

5. Coaching & Technical Support

  • Provide on‑the‑job coaching for all KSA teams.
  • Support diagnostic cases, technical escalations, EV safety checks, bus/coach troubleshooting, and IRTEC‑required assessment preparations.

6. Industry Trends & Compliance

  • Remain updated on automotive, EV, bus/coach, and heavy vehicle industry advancements.
  • Integrate new technologies into training (LEV, HV isolation, reinstatement & safety).
  • Ensure compliance with IMI/IRTEC requirements, brand policies, and KSA standards.

7. Communication & Collaboration

  • Collaborate with KSA branch managers, service managers, HR, and Bahrain-based trainers.
  • Coordinate training scheduling, duration, trainee grouping, and sequencing.
  • Maintain strong communication with brand partners, IMI/IRTEC bodies, and PTC leadership.

8. Continuous Improvement

  • Identify gaps based on assessments, performance trends, and KSA operational needs.
  • Enhance programs using automation, digital tools, and structured IRTEC processes.

9. Compliance, Health & Safety

  • Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, especially EV high‑voltage handling.
  • Ensure training centres and assessment environments comply with IMI/IRTEC and EHSQ standards.

10. Technical Support Responsibilities

  • Provide hands‑on technical support across all KSA service centres.
  • Develop and train on complex diagnostics for buses, coaches, heavy vehicles, EV systems, and hybrid platforms.
  • Support Asian Motors’ IMI EV Level 3 & 4 readiness and delivery.

Job Specifications:

Academic Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Technical Education, Adult Learning, or equivalent.
  • Additional certifications in Bus/Coach, Heavy Vehicle, or EV systems preferred.

Experience Required

  • 6–10 years of technical training or aftersales experience, ideally in:
  • Bus & Coach maintenance and diagnostics
  • Heavy Vehicle systems (LCV, HVT, B&C)
  • EV & Hybrid systems
  • Tyre‑plus service operations
  • Diagnostic to Master Level in Automotive
  • Prior experience with IMI/IRTEC programs is highly advantageous.
  • Experience working in GCC markets preferred.

Mandatory Certifications (or willingness to obtain)

  • IRTEC Bus & Coach certification (Service, Inspection, Advanced, or Master)
  • IMI EV Level 3 & Level 4 certification
  • High Voltage Isolation & Reinstatement certification (LEV)
  • Bus/Coach system manufacturer trainings
  • Heavy Vehicle diagnostic training

Preferred Competencies

  • Bilingual: Arabic & English
  • Willing to relocate and stay in KSA long‑term
  • Willing to travel within KSA and Bahrain for training/assessment delivery
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications & LMS platforms
  • Strong communication, analytical, and coaching skills
  • Ability to deliver complex technical topics to mixed‑skill audiences
  • Strong organizational capability and cultural adaptability
