An innovative Chinese automotive brand is looking for a Technical Specialist for their Austrian network. You will be serving as the ultimate technical authority and the vital link between our authorized dealer/service network and the manufacturer’s headquarters (R&D/Engineering in China)
.
You have a strong focus on New Energy Vehicles (NEVs), including Hybrid (HEV), Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV), and Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV). You will work closely with dealership technicians to ensure that our service network possesses the highest technical competence and safety certification

Responsibilit
- ies:Manage high-level technical support and 2nd/3rd-level diagnostics via hotlines, ticketing systems, or on-site "Flying Doctor" vis
- its.Be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for high-voltage battery diagnostics, electric drivetrains, hybrid power management, and advanced driver-assistance systems (AD
- AS).Provide data-driven insights on product defects and escalate recurring quality issues directly to the manufacturer's quality and engineering teams in Ch
- ina.Manage and conduct advanced technical training sessions for dealer technicians regarding new technologies and strict high-voltage safety protoc
- ols.Maintain an understanding of proprietary diagnostic software and hardware to ensure the dealer network is properly equip
- ped.Provide technical preparation and homologation support for new model launches, including reviewing German-language technical documentat
ion.
Requirem
- ents:Based in Austria with a willingness to travel within the country for on-site dealership sup
- port.5+ years of experience as a Senior Diagnostic Technician, Master Technician, or Technical Trainer within the automotive industry (Importer or OEM experience is a major p
- lus).Certified Automotive Master Craftsman (Kfz-Meister), or a degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent high-level technical automotive educa
- tion.Mandatory High-Voltage Qualification: Documented certification according to Austrian standards (OVE Richtlinie R 19 / OVE-Richtlinie R 19-1), holding at least HV-Stufe 2 (HV-Fachkundiger). HV-Stufe 3 is highly prefe
- rred.Demonstrated experience in advanced troubleshooting with modern automotive oscilloscopes, telemetry, and proprietary diagnostic soft
- ware.Deep understanding of hybrid and electric vehicle architecture, battery management systems (BMS), and vehicle bus systems (CAN, LIN, Ether
- net).Superb communicator: business fluent in German (for dealer network support) and excellent business English (essential for daily communication and technical reporting to Ch
