About The Role

The Technical Product Manager – Components has to support the strategic direction, development, and delivery of advanced product/component solutions. This role plays a critical part in ensuring technical excellence, market relevance, and profitability across the product portfolio, aligned with the overall business strategy.

This role will work closely with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to shape product strategy, guide roadmap development, and strengthen business relationships in a dynamic, technology-driven environment.

Qualifications And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electronic, Mechanical, Systems, or related field)
  • Extensive applied experience in engineering, product development, or technical environments
  • Proven experience in product/component lifecycle management, product strategy input and roadmap development
  • Demonstrated experience in market analysis and interpretation of customer requirements

Key Technical Skills

  • Strategic & Analytical Thinking Ability to analyse market trends, customer requirements, and industry developments to inform strategy and drive competitive product positioning.
  • Technical Product Insight Deep understanding of product/component technologies and capabilities to support decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership & Influence Proven ability to align and influence Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Customer Support to ensure cohesive execution of product strategies.
  • Stakeholder & Relationship Management Capability to build and manage internal and external stakeholder relationships and partnerships to support collaboration and strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Line Strategy Development

Develop strategic inputs for product and component solutions by analysing market trends, industry developments, and end-user requirements to enable the formulation and continuous improvement of Business Line strategies

  • Cross-functional Alignment

Coordinate collaboration across internal stakeholders by aligning technical and strategic priorities with Business Line objectives to ensure integrated execution and organisational coherence

  • External Partnership Management

Identify, evaluate, and manage external partners for strategic business growth initiatives to establish, formalise, and sustain long-term, value-adding partnerships.

  • Performance Monitoring and Governance

Monitor and report on business line performance and strategic initiatives through structured governance processes to provide actionable insights and support leadership's informed decision-making.
