About the position:

A growing automotive company based in Lanseria is seeking a highly organised and detailed orientated Invoice Capturing Clerk and General Finance Administrator to join their Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for capturing supplier invoices, processing service plan invoices as well as performing general administrative duties relating to finance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Capturing supplier invoices
  • Preparing supplier payment packs
  • Processing dealer service plan invoices
  • Assisting with creating purchase orders
  • Maintaining electronic records
  • Perform general administrative tasks related to finance
  • Provide support to team members with ad hoc tasks as required
  • Support month end / year end procedures

Desired Qualification and Experience:

  • Diploma in Accounting / Certificate in Bookkeeping strictly required
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a similar Finance / Administration role is advantageous but not required
  • Experience working on Accounting Software advantageous but not required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office platforms
  • Strong computer literacy
  • Ability to communicate professionally with suppliers
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good numerical skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Willingness to work overtime when required
  • Strong administrative, organisational and time management skills
  • A proactive approach to tasks with the ability to take initiative

General Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Own reliable transport and valid driver’s licence
  • High level of integrity and professionalism
  • No criminal record
