About the Role

The Strategy & Planning Manager/Sr. Manager will play a critical role in shaping the long-term direction of the group, driving strategic initiatives, and supporting senior leadership with data-driven insights across the group's automobile business verticals (sales, service, spare parts, and dealership network).

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, drive, and monitor corporate strategy and long-term business plans across group companies
  • Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and industry trend analysis specific to the automobile sector
  • Lead feasibility studies for new business ventures, dealerships, product lines, or market expansion
  • Analyze business performance against strategic goals and recommend corrective action plans
  • Develop annual business plans, budgets, and forecasts in coordination with respective business units
  • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and growth areas within the automobile industry
  • Prepare board-level presentations, strategic reports, and performance dashboards for senior management
  • Lead cross-functional strategic projects and ensure timely execution of key initiatives
  • Support M&A evaluation, joint ventures, or new brand/franchise acquisitions, where applicable
  • Monitor macroeconomic, regulatory, and industry factors impacting the automobile business
  • Coordinate with finance, sales, marketing, and operations teams to align strategic priorities

Requirements

  • CA, Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 7–10+ years of progressive experience in strategic planning, business development, or management consulting; experience in the automobile industry is highly preferred
  • Proven track record of developing and executing business strategies and growth plans
  • Strong financial modeling, business analysis, and market research skills
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work closely with senior leadership, group companies, and cross-functional teams
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
