About the Role
The Strategy & Planning Manager/Sr. Manager will play a critical role in shaping the long-term direction of the group, driving strategic initiatives, and supporting senior leadership with data-driven insights across the group's automobile business verticals (sales, service, spare parts, and dealership network).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, drive, and monitor corporate strategy and long-term business plans across group companies
- Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and industry trend analysis specific to the automobile sector
- Lead feasibility studies for new business ventures, dealerships, product lines, or market expansion
- Analyze business performance against strategic goals and recommend corrective action plans
- Develop annual business plans, budgets, and forecasts in coordination with respective business units
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and growth areas within the automobile industry
- Prepare board-level presentations, strategic reports, and performance dashboards for senior management
- Lead cross-functional strategic projects and ensure timely execution of key initiatives
- Support M&A evaluation, joint ventures, or new brand/franchise acquisitions, where applicable
- Monitor macroeconomic, regulatory, and industry factors impacting the automobile business
- Coordinate with finance, sales, marketing, and operations teams to align strategic priorities
Requirements
- CA, Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 7–10+ years of progressive experience in strategic planning, business development, or management consulting; experience in the automobile industry is highly preferred
- Proven track record of developing and executing business strategies and growth plans
- Strong financial modeling, business analysis, and market research skills
- Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work closely with senior leadership, group companies, and cross-functional teams
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
