About the position: In this key role, you will be responsible for the strategic procurement of individual technical components and complex assemblies in an international environment. You will actively contribute to shaping commodity group strategies and ensure the company's competitiveness through professional supplier management.
Your tasks:
- Operational purchasing : Procurement of technical (preferably automotive) components and assemblies.
- End-to-end process : Carrying out the entire procurement cycle from market analysis and tendering through negotiation to awarding and contract conclusion.
- Strategic work : Participation in the creation and operational implementation of supplier and commodity group strategies.
- Supplier management : Active support and qualification of suppliers as well as conducting supplier audits in the role of lead buyer.
- Negotiation skills : Independently conducting contract negotiations with international partners.
Your Profile:
- Education : Basic technical training with in-depth further education in purchasing (e.g. purchasing specialist with federal certificate, purchasing manager with federal diploma or business administrator HF).
- Experience : Preferably experience in vehicle construction, plant engineering or a comparable industrial environment.
- Competence : Proven experience in strategic supplier management as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Negotiation skills : High level of confidence in negotiation and contract situations.
- Languages : Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written.
- IT & Mobility : Proficient use of SAP ERP and MS-Office, as well as willingness to travel internationally.
