We are currently seeking highly skilled Mechanical Technicians/Mechanics with proven expertise in Vögele asphalt pavers and related paving equipment to join our maintenance and operations team.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair Vögele asphalt pavers and associated road construction machinery;
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems;
- Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic reports;
- Ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime;
- Conduct field repairs on construction sites when required;
- Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience with Vögele pavers (Wirtgen Group equipment preferred);
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electronic control systems;
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and service manuals;
- Experience in heavy construction or road building equipment maintenance;
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently;
- Willingness to work in field conditions and flexible hours when necessary;
- Residence in Nigeria.
Qualifications
- Technical certification in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or related field;
- Experience with other asphalt paving and road construction machinery brands;
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and electronic control systems.
