The Role
We are looking for an experienced Software Manager to lead and scale our software team within Piaxo, reporting directly to the General Manager. This role has a strategic impact on delivery quality, project execution, and customer engagement, within a highly standards-driven automotive environment.You will work closely with Software & System Validation, HR, and Marketing teams to ensure organizational growth and successful program delivery aligned with automotive standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and handle salary negotiations for engineering teams across multiple projects.
- Grow your software team by validating new engineers and supporting their effective onboarding and ramp-up.
- Provide project management and coordination for team members under your supervision.
- Monitor and report internally and to customers the delivery quality and project risks.
- Define technical direction and ensure on-time, high-quality results.
- Manage supplier negotiations and procurement of equipment & tools (Vector, Technica Engineering, NXP)
Requirements
- 10+ years in embedded software development, automotive focus.
- Strong knowledge of AUTOSAR and Vector toolchain.
- Proven expertise in ASPICE (implementation, audits, assessments)
- Proven project and team management skills.
- Familiar with leading semiconductor products from NXP, Nvidia, Infineon, STMicroelectronics, Renesas, and Texas Instruments. Whether it’s a microchip, single-core, or multi-core processor.
- Hands-on technical expertise across multiple software development areas (SWE.1–SWE.6), with the ability to understand challenges, provide guidance, and support team members across the entire V-cycle.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience as PO/PM
- Knowledge of Linux or other OS; Model-based design; System development, Android Automotive, Cloud
- German language
